Invite Agents to NIC
Inviting your Agents to connect with you on NIC has never been easier.
You can invite individual Agents, one at a time, you can create and invite a List of Agents, or you can invite all of your Agents at once. Each process requires you to locate your Agent or Agents on NIC and then you simply click the invite button.
Once you click on the invite button your Agents will receive an email from NIC. They will need to click on a link in the email and then go through a multi-factor authentication process before they can access their book of business.
INVITING A SINGLE AGENT
There are numerous ways to locate individual agents on NIC, the most efficient is the global search at the top of the screen.
The Global Search is located in the top navigation bar.
Under the Category menu, under Network click on Advisor and start typing the Agent's name
Once the Agent appears, click on their name and you will be taken directly to the Agent profile
From the Agent Profile, click on the Invite button.
If the button says Chat that means the Agent is already on NIC and you can communicate with them via the NIC Chat feature
If the button says Pending that means the Agent has already been invited but hasn't gone through the onboarding process yet
AGENT INVITE EMAIL
Once you have clicked on the Invite button, your Agent will receive an email with a link to a quick onboarding process to the NIC Advisor App.
THE INVITE EMAIL CONTAINS:
Welcome to NIC Video: The email contains a generic Welcome to NIC video recorded by NIC. If you wish to have a more personalized video displayed in the email, please contact us.

Activate Now button: Once the Agent clicks on it they will be taken to a quick subscription/onboarding process.
Once the process is complete the Agent will be automatically granted access to NIC.
INVITING A GROUP OF AGENTS
SEARCHING FOR AGENTS
From the left navigation menu, click on Network
From the Network tab, use the filters to find your Agents who are not on the platform:
Expand the INVITATION STATUS filter and click on Unsubscribed
Expand the CONTACT LEVEL filter and click on Advisor
This will provide you with a list of Agents who are not on the platform. You can use other filters to narrow down your list, e.g. find unsubscribed Agents by a different state, policy count, client count or premium)
From the refined list review your Agents to make sure all of them have email addresses. If an Agent does not have an email, you will not be able to invite them.
Please contact your Super User, so they can add their email address to their profile.
Select the Agents you would like to add, by clicking on the check boxes beside their names, and then click on the SEND INVITE button
A confirmation dialogue box will appear and you are done! Your Advisor will receive an email from you with a link to a quick onboarding process to the NIC Advisor App. (see above)
